A consortium of Snam, Singapore's GIC and EDF closed the Eu2.4 billion ($3.2 billion) acquisition of Transport et Infrastructures Gaz France from Total on 30 July. Snam owns 45%, GIC 35%, and EDF 20% of TIGF Investissements, the holding company for the transmission and storage operator. Total named the consortium preferred bidder in February 2013, ahead of a grouping of CDC Infrastructure, AXA Private Equity, Predica, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Fluxys, and signed a definitive sale agreement on 5 April.
