BRATTLEBORO -- The Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro will soon incorporate the curriculum of the Sea Research Foundation into its programming thanks to a five-figure grant from the nonprofit organization.
The Brattleboro club will use the $34,000 in immersion mentoring grant money to provide its members with education in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM. Registered members of the three area clubs -- on Flat Street, in West Brattleboro and in Bellows Falls -- will be able to participate for free. The programming will be held at the Flat Street location.
