Honors, designations and recognitions

Financial Advisor magazine included five local firms on its 2013 national list of largest registered investment advisers: Harrisburg-based FMA Advisory ranked No. 200 with $631.84 million in assets, 8.43 percent more than in 2011; Rodgers and Associates of Manheim Township ranked No. 259 with $413.28 million in assets, 16.72 percent more than in 2011; Roof Advisory Group of Harrisburg ranked No. 317 with $262.6 million in assets, 16.39 percent more than in 2011; 21st Century Wealth Management of Spring Garden Township ranked No. 331 with $237.81 million in assets, 19.2 percent more than in 2011; and Kuntz Lesher Capital of Manheim Township ranked No. 340 with $228 million in assets, 34.12 percent more than in 2011.
Designations
Wisconsin-based International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans named Laura N. Mercadante a group benefits associate. She is a benefits client services manager with Springettsbury Township-based McConkey Insurance & Benefits.
Massachusetts-based Dentsply Implants of North America, a subsidiary of York County-based Dentsply International, named Thayer Dental Laboratory of Upper Allen Township one of its 25 Atlantis Super Elite labs. Thayer has been an Atlantis Components' beta lab for more than 10 years and continues to beta test new products and techniques.
Pennsylvania Department of State named Thomas P. Allen a certified public accountant. He is a staffaccountant with York-based SF&Co. and a graduate of DeSales University.
Washington, D.C.-based Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards named Charles R. Dielmann a certified financial planner. He is employed with Horst Insurance of Manheim Township and has a BS in economics from the University of Delaware.
Connecticut-based Hartford School of Insurance named Kristi A. Trinkley a commercial lines coverage specialist. She is employed with Horst Insurance of Manheim Township and has an associate degree in psychology from Harrisburg Area Community College.
Government
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation gave IdeaLink Awards to employees who made suggestions that improved PennDOT's efficiency, safety, customer service, cost savings or revenue generation. Charles Brewer of the Bureau of Aviation suggested adding his driver's mental checklist known as S.M.A.R.T. to the department's highway safety website.
