Light vehicle owners can now pay for their registration using automated direct debit payments by signing up through an online portal.
Finance Minister Michael O Brien said under the new payment system, owners of cars, motorbikes, light trailers and caravans can now enrol for their registration payments to be deducted from a nominated bank account or credit card each month.
Previously, registration payments for light vehicles could be made only for three months or 12 months as a single payment, through a variety of payment channels.
