Thomas F. Rosenbaum was named as the ninth president of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in October. Rosenbaum will succeed Jean-Lou Chameau, who served the Institute from 2006 to 2013, and will take over the helm from interim president and provost Ed Stolper on July 1, 2014.
