At first glance, the tide to this slim volume may smack of hyperbole. "Sing anything" sounds like an exaggerated claim for a book that consists of fewer than 100 pages. However, authors Latimerlo and Popeil approach a wide array of vocal styles in a methodic manner, offering guidance to singing in classical, music theater, jazz, pop, country, R & B, and rock genres. The authors' goal is to offer systematic, concise instruction. Accordingly, none of the chapters is longer than nine pages, and several consist of a single leaf.
