Abstract

The development of cameras and storage systems, the emergence of computer editing and digital visual effects and the proliferation of new showing procedures, seem to have opened, in the early 21st century, a new horizon to the movies. For that reason, it is focuses on the detection of discursive influences on the narrative level in a representative film in this regard, Source Code (Duncan Jones, 2011), coming from the proposals of narratology, specifically Gérard Genette's work, and its adaptation to cinema. [...]the use of certain devices seems to relate the film to other digital age products like videogames. Source Code fue el segundo largometraje del director británico Duncan Jones tras la premiada Moon (2009). La imagen que se le muestra al espectador del aspecto físico del personaje principal coincide con la que este tiene de sí mismo, y sin embargo diverge de la apariencia de la que dan cuenta tanto el reflejo de la ventana, comp el espejo de los aseos del medic de transporte.
