Keith F. Bebo, a management training specialist with the Library of Congress, died Feb. 3 at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Va. He was 75.
The cause was a heart attack and complications from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, his wife, Jeanne Bebo, said.
Mr. Bebo retired from the Library of Congress nine years ago, after 30 years of service. Earlier, he had been a D.C. social worker and a management intern at the White House.
Keith Frank Bebo was born in Manchester, N.H. He attended the Citadel in Charleston, S.C., but was forced to withdraw after suffering severe spinal injuries in a diving competition. He graduated from Springfield College in Massachusetts in 1961.
He served in the Army during the 1960s and later settled in Occoquan, Va.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jeanne Neatrour Bebo of Occoquan; two daughters, Kiersten Marie Abel of Rixeyville in Culpeper County, Va., and Michelle-Rene Bebo of Baltimore; two brothers, including his twin, Bruce Bebo of Forney, Tex., and Nelson Bebo of Woodstock, Vt.; and five grandchildren.
