Channel 4 has scooped up a record number of Bafta Television Award nominations, with Southcliffe and The IT Crowd leading the field.
The commercial broadcaster received 27 nods, more than any other channel and the most in its 32-year history. BBC1 and BBC2 both registered 17 shows in the list.
Drama Southcliffe and the final ever episode of The IT Crowd both picked up four nominations each.
The former is in the running for best Mini Series and Rory Kinnear is among three acting nominees. The IT Crowd's cast are up for comedy acting gongs, while the show stands a chance of winning best Situation Comedy.
Other C4 nominations included Broadcast Award winners Gogglebox for Reality and Constructed Factual, The Murder Trial for Single Documentary and Syria: Across the Lines for Current Affairs.
Elsewhere, The Village and Broadchurch both received three nominations, with the latter ensuring that Olivia Colman is in the running to pick up a Bafta after taking home two last year.
Bafta Television Awards host Graham Norton is up for best Entertainment Performance, while his BBC1 show is nominated in the Comedy and Entertainment Programme category, where it will compete with Sky 1's A League of Their Own.
