Apple Inc. may strike an endorsement deal with Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant for a new Apple product, 9to5mac.com reported May 15, citing a recent photograph of the Lakers' shooting guard with his wife at Apple's Infinite Loop campus in Cupertino, Calif.
While details remain undisclosed, a source reportedly said Bryant met Jony Ive, Apple's chief designer, and could sponsor the rumored "iWatch" or the Healthbook app, which is expected to be unveiled at WWDC in June.
The "iWatch" is reportedly expected to be unveiled later this year. Bryant is already involved in an endorsement deal with Swiss watch brand Hublot.
