Abstract
Turkish data vendor Matriks Bilgi Dagitim Hizmetleri has signed a deal with Tullett Prebon Information (TPI), the data arm of interdealer broker Tullett Prebon, to distribute TPI's over-the-counter prices on global commodities to its client base of Turkish banks and brokerages. The agreement covers indicative prices on global energy markets -- including oil, coal, natural gas and emissions, as well as sovereign credit default swap data -- which will be distributed in real time to Matriks via TPI's proprietary delivery network. The partnership was driven by demand from Matriks customers for more accurate datasets on the global energy markets in response to a rapidly growing energy sector in Turkey, says Frank Desmond, managing director of TPI.
