Abstract

China continued its efforts in implementing multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs). Important progress has been made in honouring Chinas commitments under the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer (Vienna Convention), the Montreal Protocol on Substances That Deplete the Ozone Layer (Montreal Protocol), and the Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade (PIC Convention).
