Stearns Lending said that John Adam has joined the company as executive vice president, national head of retail lending.

Prior to joining Stearns, Adam served as the Northeast sales executive for Bank of America, which included market leadership of the Northeast, Midwest and mid-Atlantic markets.

Prior to his tenure at Bank of America, he spent 14 years leading and building sales teams throughout the Eastern United States for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

LenderLive Network Inc. said that Charlie Kent has joined the firm as vice president of national sales for the company's settlement services division.

In this position, Kent will be responsible for developing new client relationships and supporting existing ones for LenderLive's Settlement Services division.

Kent brings more than 20 years of experience in the title and settlement services, data, analytics, mortgage and servicing industry to LenderLive.

Most recently, he was the national account director at First American.

Previously, he was vice president, national client director at CoreLogic.

Alliant National Title Insurance Co. said that Margaret Cook, vice president and Colorado counsel, has begun her term as president of the Land Title Association of Colorado.

Cook, who had been first vice president and acting president of LTAC, was inaugurated earlier this month at the trade association's annual conference.
