Abstract
Recovery of aluminum metal from wastes dross is energy demanding, which could be saved if the dross is diverted and used as an engineering material. The reuse of dross has been examined in view of transforming A1 dross into a useful resource. Ewais et al.7 used varying ratios of A1 sludge, A1 dross, and A1 sinters to manufacture calcium aluminate ce- ment that can be used to produce resistant bricks.
