Best retail platform: Spotware Systems' cTrader

Abstract

Despite the large number of brokers competing for business in the retail foreign exchange market, the industry has long been dominated by a single trading platform -- MetaTrader 4 (MT4), developed by MetaQuotes Software. But the winner of this year's retail platform award, Spotware Systems' cTrader, has grown rapidly since its launch in 2011 and is now widely acknowledged to have become a credible alternative to MT4. The platform has added more than 40 participating brokers over the past year as retail traders have welcomed the addition of a new entrant.
