Lamb and mutton processors that require close access to sheep farmers need to look at areas like the north and west of Great Britain, which contain hill and highland country suitable for raising sheep. Pork and beef processors tend locate in regions like Scotland and Yorkshire, which have historically produced a large proportion of the country's red meat.
