Hearst increasing stake in Fitch Group to 80% in $1.97B deal

Hearst Corp. is buying an additional 30% interest in Fitch Group from Fimalac S.A. in a deal valued at about $1.97 billion, increasing the U.S. media company's total stake in the global ratings and research agency to 80%.
