Abstract
PARIS is agitated, deeply agitated, not over Dreyfus (happily), but over dress. An innovator has arisen, a daring innovator, who, instead of fitting the woman to the dress, has fitted the dress to the woman. Imagine the emotions of the Rue de la Paix! And it was precisely the "Rue de la Paix" that started it, for this is the name of a startling sartorial play now being given at the Paris Vaudeville. And Paul Iribe-- for that is the name of the culprit-- drew dresses for the "Rue de la Paix"-- dresses that caused the critics and dress-experts to cry out.
