Afternoon tea is the sleeper of business entertaining. It's unexpected, more relaxed than lunch or dinner and more substantial than coffee. We explored two new options for afternoon tea: one that's classically posh and the other a little offbeat and casual. Reservations are recommended; the Allis lounge in Soho House serves tea from 3 to 5 p.m. daily; Pavilion in the Langham Chicago has seatings at 3, 3:30 and 4 p.m.
