Maxim Power Corp. on Jan. 20 said the Alberta Utilities Commission has issued its decision on Module A of phase two of affiliate Milner Power Inc.'s complaint against the Alberta Electric System Operator's so-called Line Loss Rule.
The case at issue dates back nearly a decade. In 2005, the Maxim Power subsidiary filed a complaint with a predecessor agency to the current utilities commission that the rule, which was due to come into effect Jan. 1, 2006, violated Alberta's transmission regulation and was unjust, unreasonable and inconsistent with or in contravention of the 2003...
