The Nevada Women's Film Festival saw its debut at Town Square on March 14.
The NWFF is dedicated to increasing the representation of women's craft and vision through pictures that have a strong female presence and stories featuring strong female characters.
The festival showcased the works of numerous female directors, divided into two categories.
The first block was called "Women of the Globe," and it highlighted various genres of films from nine different countries. The second block, "Nevada Filmmakers," featured local films, including some directed and produced by UNLV students.
