As RT Demar Dotson sat out a second full week of voluntary workouts unhappy with his contract, Bucs coach Lovie Smith showed a level of disappointment Thursday that could escalate if the holdout continues to next week's three-day mandatory minicamp.
"He's not here. ... It doesn't really matter why he's not here for whatever reason," Smith said. "There is an opportunity to be here, and he chose not to. ... Next week, everything is mandatory. I'm concerned if someone doesn't show up for mandatory work."
Dotson has two years remaining on the extension he signed in 2013. He had been in negotiations for a new deal, but those talks were tabled...
