Abstract

THIS Suffrage Question is playing the devil-- not only with window panes, but with romance. A revolution is taking place, of which our dramatists must take instant notice. In olden days there were roughly five possible attitudes on the part of intelligent man towards intelligent woman-- like, dislike, love, hatred, and indifference. Now they have been simplified down to two-- he either agrees or disagrees with her on the Suffrage.
