Abstract

Currently LinkedIn has turned into a tool of interest for active and in search of employment professionals, but also for the companies, within the 2.0 and social networks paradigm, since it can be a useful channel to attract talent. The present work evaluates the use of LinkedIn as a tool of business communication to this purpose. The LinkedIn accounts of the first 20 companies of the Mercopersonas report (2014), a rank of the most considered companies to work at in Spain, have been analysed. The study offers a new methodology and provides with a series of recommendations to be applied by Spanish corporations.
