BARC India has released the first set of ratings including rural data. There were some big changes seen in the ratings as well as the rankings of the channels. Some of these were expected while some were not. For instance, it was known that FTA (free-to-air) channels would do well with rural data, however, it was not know that Zee Anmol would climb up to No.3 spot among Hindi GECs from the bottom of the ratings table.
