New Kaufman CALPHAD Scholarship; TMS Talks STEM with Congressional Staff

Abstract

[Kaufman] earned his Sc.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1955 and joined TMS one year later, when the society was still a branch of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers (AIME). As an active TMS member for more than 50 years, Kaufman was also a member of TMS's Legion of Honor.
