Abstract: No matter by which methods or means it is achieved, communication is a complex, dynamic and an absolutely necessary process.
Through this communication process we are getting information, knowledge, and we are taking action and relate permanently. The purpose of such experience will always be the same: to lead to effects and to get answers.
But we always wish for the feedback to match our expectations. From this perspective we need competence and expertise in order to properly assess the importance of communication within the military information systems.

Communication is very important in information and decision-making processes. It can be optimized, standardized and structured according to operational requirements through automated data processing by computer. Exchange of information, which is the essence of communication, is achieved through a language consisting of a system of signals, which forms the alphabet of the language used, in our case the specific military terminology which is more synthetic and comprehensive. In general, it is widely accepted the theory that communication in the military information system is an act of will, determined by action, where the information contained in communication, via messaging, becomes a product of it.
Obviously, the inevitable problems that arise in the communication process is reflected in one or more information services such as: collection and transmission of information, the introduction of individual processing programs, information retrieval and, in general, interactive use of the computer.
In this context, communication is understood, on one hand, as an exchange of messages, and on the other hand, as individual or collective activities related to the entire emission - reception of data, facts or ideas. In other words, an action which consists of a signal by a source X and transmitting it through a channel to a receiver Y, where there are involved verbal, nonverbal, paralinguistic1 and socio-cultural elements.
Communication is one of the important functions of military structures, which enables the enhancement of scientific management of these elements. It is of particular importance for the performance of all activities organized and the successful execution of operations.
