The Nampa Development Corporation will vote on Mussell Construction's proposal to turn the old Nampa Public Library building into office space on Dec. 16.
Mussell's proposal was chosen by a development committee over one submitted by Gardner Company on Nov. 30. Mussell was chosen in part because of its faster timeline, said Mike Mussel, the company's co-owner.
"Right now we are looking at January through March to meet with possible tenants, March through June to get approval for everything from the city and then will begin construction after June," said Mussel.
