A 53-year-old woman developed chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and vitamin B12 deficiency during treatment with cyclophosphamide and docetaxel [time to reaction onsets not stated].
On 05 June 2012, the woman started receiving her first regime of chemotherapy with docetaxel (75 mg/m2) 184mg IV, every 3 weeks, four times totally and cyclophosphamide 1480mg (600 mg/m2) IV every 3 weeks , four times totally, for breast cancer. She received the chemotherapy regimen at the same dosage for three more times with last administration on 07 August 2012. After chemotherapy administration the vitamin B12 status was found to be decreased on 25 September 2012 and was deemed as deficient....
