The owner of two BMW dealerships in South Florida can't bypass the state administrative process and go directly to court to challenge a proposed new point, a federal judge in Miami has ruled.
U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno said the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles should have first crack at handling Vista Motor Co.'s protest.
Vista owns two stores in Broward County, Vista BMW Coconut Creek and Vista BMW Pompano Beach. The proposed new point, BMW of Delray Beach, would be housed in Palm Beach County, which adjoins Broward.
