Abstract

Logistics is an important application area of the Internet of Things. The paper first introduces the possibility of the combination of Internet of Things and logistics. Then the existing architecture of Internet of Things has been analyzed. Based on the existing architecture, the paper puts forward the advice of architecture used in logistics and briefly describes the key technologies in the Internet of Things. On the basis of architecture and key technologies, the article gives the embodiment of the Internet of Things in logistics. The current business framework and process of management and decision making based on Internet of Things have been discussed. Internet of Things can realize logistics management automation, logistics operation efficiency, reducing the storage cost and improving the logistics service quality, so that the whole supple chain integrates more closely. Because of Internet of Things, there will be a highly precise, real-time and transparent logistics industry.
