AIChE's Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) has established a new professional designation for engineers and practitioners working in the chemical, petrochemical, and affiliated industries. Becoming a CCPS Certified Process Safety Professional (CCPSP) provides evidence of an employee's proficiency in, and ongoing commitment to, process safety principles and practices, and allows chemical industry employers to verify that staff members are trained and invested in the latest process safety techniques and knowledge.
