Werner Ricardo Voigt, one of three founders of Brazilian electrical manufacturer WEG, died June 1. He was 85.
Voigt studied at the SENAI technical school and worked under the guidance of Werner Strohmeyer, rewinding electric motors.
When he turned 18, he was drafted into the Army in the Caritiba state of Paraná. Completing military service, he was selected to attend the Federal Technical School. His studies prepared him to go to...
