Dipolog City Mayor Darel Dexter T. Uy delivered his first State of the Children Report recently before children and students from the different schools in the city at the Zamboanga del Norte Convention and Sports Center. Today, I face you not only as a father to four kids but also as a father to each and every Dipolognon, Mayor Uy stressed. He expressed his gratitude for the continuing recognition of Dipolog as Most Child-Friendly City in Zamboanga peninsula and for being a national finalist in the Presidential Award for Child-Friendly Cities for two years already. The city continues to receive recognition for its notable performance in fighting malnutrition in children below six years of age, wherein, for many years now, it has the lowest malnutrition rate in region 9.
