China UnionPay has selected PAX Technology, a provider of secure electronic payment terminal solutions, to supply secure payment devices to over 6 million merchants in 2017.
As one of the largest merchant acquirers in the world, China UnionPay Merchant Services will be leveraging the full PAX product portfolio. One device that will be deployed includes the A920 Android terminal which offers high levels of application customization to meet different merchant demands of procurement, logistics, inventory and business management.
Other PAX devices to be deployed include countertop models, S78, S80 and S800 all in combination with the new SP20 V4 contactless PINpad, S60, S500, mobile terminals S90, S900 & D210, the D180 mPOS, smart PINPads SP30 & S300, the smart self-service desktop payment terminal D800 and the all-in-one smart ECR payment terminal D820.
