Abstract

In 1979, when Apple, Radio Shack, and Commodore first introduced PCs to the market, Computer Economics launched to provide market research to the technology sector. Its research now covers such topics as IT spending benchmarks, staffing trends, information security, and salary reports. Computer Economics offers a free monthly newsletter and free research on its web site, but most of it services are on a subscription basis. The company's clients include major IT organizations, large consulting firms, and financial services firms in North America and more than 30 countries. Computer Economics is the sister company of management consulting firm Strativa.
