Starfire Lumber produces planed and rough Douglas fir lumber products from its western Oregon cutting mill. The company operates sales networks in the Pacific Rim, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Starfire Lumber, formerly an old cedar mill, was incorporated in 1983 by Francis Engle, the company's former chairman. The Engle family continues to control the company.
