Abstract

The folks at Hirsch/Bedner International (doing business as Hirsch Bedner Associates, or HBA) are right at home in a hotel room. HBA provides interior and graphic design services to customers worldwide, specializing in designs for hotels. Portfolio projects have included Le Saint Géran, Mauritius; St. Regis Grand, Rome; Pan Pacific Yokohama; Ritz-Carlton New Orleans; Mandarin Oriental Miami; and Movenpick Aqaba, Jordan. Design division Graphis International develops corporate identities, sign systems, and packaging programs for the hospitality, entertainment, and retail industries. HBA, founded in 1964 and credited with pioneering hospitality design as a specialty, has about a dozen offices worldwide.
