Abstract

Lerner Publishing Group is all about learning. The children's book publisher has about 3,500 titles in print, including picture books, biographies, fiction and nonfiction, and young adult novels, for grades K-12. Imprints and divisions include Carolrhoda Books, Darby Creek Publishing, ediciones Lerner, Graphic Universe, Kar-Ben Publishing, LernerClassroom, Lerner Publications, Millbrook Press, and Twenty-First Century Books. Lerner's titles are distributed primarily to schools and public libraries, and some titles are available in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. It also prints and binds its books at the company-owned Muscle Bound Bindery. Lerner Publishing was founded in 1959 by CEO Harry Lerner.
