Manipur, Jan. 25 -- IMPHAL Jan 25
Giving a shot in the arms of the state unit BJP, Trinamool Congress president Kim Gangte, Congress MLAs Nemcha Kipgen and Vungjagin Valte joined the party today.
The BJP organised a reception function to welcome the new entrants. BJP national secretary and North East coordinator Ram Madhav and Assam's finance minister Himant Biswa attended the function.
With the joining of Nemcha Kipgen and Vungjagin Valte, number of Congress MLAs joining the BJP has increased to six. Earlier Congress MLAs Yumkham Erabot, N. Biren Singh, Francis Ngajokpa and Kikhonbou Newmai joined the BJP.
