When I reviewed the first edition of the full-length APA Dictionary of Psychology (RR 2007/114), I recommended it as comprehensive, reasonably priced (it cost £35 in hardback in 2007) and well-balanced or, at least, effectively reflecting current psychological opinion. Subsequently, the American Psychological Association (APA) published a whole series of sub-set dictionaries extracted from that main work, such as the APA Dictionary of Clinical Psychology (RR 2013/168) or the APA Dictionary of Statistics and Research Methods (RR 2014/163). Some of the entries from the main dictionary have been republished two or three times in different books, which is presumably a useful source of profit for the APA.
