The 21st century is the era of the knowledge-based economy. With the economic globalization and competition nationalization, high-tech products export trade has strongly influenced the level of every state's participating in the international division of labor. High-tech products export trade plays an important role in optimizing the industrial structure, upgrading its technology and fully absorbing the fruits of economic globalization in a country, etc. So, we can say it has become a key indicator in reflecting economic power, technological strength and international competitiveness in a state or region. China's high-tech products export trade has gained rapid development since 1998 and has played an increasingly important role in optimizing our export commodity structure, promoting transformation process of China's foreign trade growth mode. Then, a research has been done in the status of high-tech exports in China and an evaluation and analysis has been carried out in the situation, the export scale, export structure of the status of high-tech exports in China. From this, a scientific evaluation index system has been constructed for China's high-tech technology products export competitiveness, and a systematic evaluation has been made for the current high-tech products export competitiveness. Finally, according to the result of the evaluation, a systematic response mechanism is proposed for the new ways to further enhance the export competitiveness of China's high-tech products in the new historical background. Thus it can provide an important theoretical basis and practical guidance for enhancing the competitiveness of the export of high-tech products, promoting high-tech exports so as to promote the development of China's economic restructuring.
