Windows 2000's Recovery Console allows you to use the Set command to configure several parameters that may help you to troubleshoot your system's booting problems. As we showed you in the article "Decrease system downtime with Recovery Console" the parameters are by default set to False, but can be switched to True once the security policy is changed. Follow these steps on each computer for which you want to change the default settings to modify the security policy.
