Abstract

Patient was asymptomatic and continued on thyroid hormone replacement therapy. If no symptoms, medical management with routine monitoring should be considered first Conclusion: Ectopic thyroid gland is an uncommon disease entity which results from abnormal thyroid tissue descent during embryological development.
