The New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority has mailed out a letter to vendors saying if they'd like to see the RFP to provide recordkeeping/administrative services and investment options, they must pay a non-refundable fee of $250. Ephagean Dohman, deputy director of procurements, said the search is being conducted for the MTA's 401(k) and 457 plans, which total approximately $338 million and have about 21,200 participants. Both plans are bundled with Prudential Investments.
