-Destination for Wine Lovers, Beautiful Setting for Weddings
The beautiful live oak and pecan groves along the clear flowing South Concho River at Christoval, Texas, provide the setting for Christoval Vineyards and Winery, owned and operated by Drexell "Drex" and Nancy Vincent and family.
Now producing all their own wine including their mainstay varietals, Tempranillo, Vermentino, Mourvedre, Petite Sirah and Riesling, with grapes grown on premise, along with other types and blends, the 25-acre estate, featuring its scenic 7-acre vineyard, chapel and tasting room has become a destination for visitors and serves as a venue for many family and business events.
The chapel at Christoval Vineyards and Winery, with its indoor and outdoor spaces and dance floor has become a popular venue for weddings, reunions, corporate meetings and other events. When we first visited the Vineyards in 2010, the Vincents had owned the property for two years and had constructed the chapel and planted many of the now producing grape vines, including the Spanish Tempranillo varietal that does so well in the hot West Texas climate. At the time they were constructing a tasting room for visitors. The tasting room with its air conditioned seating area inside and an outside open air patio now serves as a second venue for meetings and parties.
