At the centre of this work is a diplomatic transcription, translation, and facsimile of a manuscript fragment, consisting of two loose leaves, from the Heidelberg Sammlung Eis. In this Haberkern identifies 'eine unvollstandige, paraphrasierende und den Inhalt des Originals stark konzentrierende Wiedergabe' (p. 11) of Richard of St. Victor's treatise Benjamin minor. The majority of the study is allocated to a summary of the biblical narrative of the House of Jacob together with a summary of the Benjamin minor itself, using the version available in the Patrologia Latino (vol. CXCVI, pp. 1-64). A critical edition by Châtillon, Duchet-Suchaux, and Longère is meanwhile available (Sources...
