JAG: Jaggies Are Gone, Ray Dream Inc.'s anti-aliasing software utility for the Macintosh, will be a dream come true for many Macintosh users. The product uses edge-tracking techniques to improve the appearnace of images, on-screen animations, video, slides, film and prints.
JAG works with any PICT or PICS files to output images of up to 4,096-by-4,096-pixel resolution and any number of colors. True to its name, JAG automates the painful task of removing the jagged edges common to all images, regardless of the software used. If you have ever tried to manually smooth a jagged line or curve, you know how time consuming and frustrating the process can be. With JAG, most images can be cleaned up in less than a minute without requiring a souped-up Macintosh.
