COMMUNICATIONS between mobile PCs and corporate networks got a security boost last week with the launch of products from Raptor Systems Inc. and Cylink Corp.
Raptor's EagleNomad encrypts data between a Windows laptop and a LAN over a dial-up or Internet connection, shielding data from sniffers -- software or hardware devices that can be used by hackers to intercept and read messages.
