First elements of AutoIS emerge as storage giant seeks new opportunities
EMC IS LOOKING to repeat its success in storage hardware and become known as a serious software provider, last week opening the first chapter of its AutoIS (automated information storage) initiative with four new storage software products.
The ultimate goal for AutoIS is to build a heterogeneous storagemanagement environment under the company's software-management architecture.
